Our Pico de las Nieves signature tour is a cycling adventure like no other, and it all begins at our Free Motion Hub in Playa del Inglés. Setting off towards San Bartolomé de Tirajana, we start by ascending to the breathtaking Degollada de las Yeguas lookout point at 474 meters above sea level. As we descend into the valley, we'll witness the scenic beauty before conquering the uphill challenge of Fataga, reaching the heights of Tunte at 900 meters.
Our journey continues through San Bartolomé de Tirajana, with a brief loop through this mountain town, then onwards, passing Cruz Grande en route to Ayacata. Here, at an altitude of just over 1300 meters, we gear up for the final push to the summit, standing tall at 1949 meters. Along the way, we'll pass by the iconic monolith of Roque Nublo and meander through enchanting pine forests, leading us to the island's highest point, Pico de las Nieves.
At the summit, soak in the breathtaking panoramic views before we embark on a thrilling descent towards the coast. The winding roads will take you past volcanic craters and charming mountain villages, eventually leading to the town of Ingenio. Here, we'll turn right and start our journey back to Playa del Inglés, often with the wind at our backs, providing a welcome assist.
